Hatch Haven Poultry Farms NPIP Certification & Liability Terms
NPIP Participation Certification
Hatch Haven Poultry Farms is an active participant in the National Poultry Improvement Plan (NPIP). All chicks and hatching eggs originate from U.S. Approved Pullorum-Typhoid Clean Flocks, maintained in compliance with NPIP standards. Official NPIP certification documentation (VS Form 9-3 or equivalent) is available upon request and may be referenced on your invoice.
Bacterial Transfer & Liability Release
By purchasing from Hatch Haven Poultry Farms, the buyer acknowledges and agrees:
Inherent Disease Risks:
Poultry handling may expose humans to pathogens including Salmonella spp.
All birds are sold as healthy at time of shipment but require proper biosecurity
Buyer’s Responsibilities:
Implement recommended quarantine procedures for new birds
Maintain proper hygiene when handling poultry
Provide appropriate housing, nutrition, and veterinary care
Limitation of Liability:
Hatch Haven shall not be liable for:
Contamination occurring post-shipment
Consequential damages from bird ownership
Zoonotic disease transmission
Buyer assumes all risks associated with poultry ownership
Indemnification:
Buyer agrees to defend and hold harmless Hatch Haven Poultry Farms, its agents, and employees against all claims arising from:
Bird-related injuries
Property damage
Disease transmission
Purchaser Attestation
